Who are we looking for?

Demand is increasing for aged care and disability services, which means we are expanding, and regularly seek new people to join our team. We have a range of roles available, and welcome applications for any role at any time.

Some of the roles regularly available at Accept Care include:

  • Registered and enrolled nurses
  • Allied health professionals (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists and more)
  • Home care workers (Cert. 3 or 4 mandatory)
  • Domestic assistants
  • Customer service, administration staff and more!

All of our employees, no matter what role they are in, must have:

  • A national police clearance within the past 12 months
  • A valid driver’s license and roadworthy vehicle
  • Compliant immunisation screening
  • The right to work in Australia

In addition, all staff who have face-to-face contact with our clients (ie. all roles except customer service and administration staff), must have:

  • DCSI Working with Children clearance
  • NDIS Worker screening
  • DCSI Aged Care clearance

Finally – our nurses, allied health professionals and home care workers, who are directly involved in caring for our clients, must also hold current certification in:

  • First Aid and CPR
  • Manual Handling

Our Home Support Workers must have a Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support (Aged Care, NDIS or both), allied health professionals need to have current AHPRA registration, and nurses must be enrolled or registered.

I have a Bachelor in Applied Social Science (Counselling) and am currently studying towards a Masters in Social Work. I am passionate about empowering people to take control of their mental health, and providing them with a range of tools and strategies to manage their own wellbeing.

Virginia Ktoris

NDIS Support Coordinator

I have a Certificate IV in Disability and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. I work with people living with a disability or mental health issues to help them access mainstream supports, advocating for them where they are not able to independently. I have a passion for supporting people to meet their goals and build their capacity and independence to do things they enjoy without the barriers they can often experience.

Physiotherapist

I am a physiotherapist with more than 25 years’ experience, and I manage Accept Care’s Allied Health Department. Our team is involved with assisting clients who have mobility or movement restrictions, are at risk of falls or experience persistent pain related to movement. I find it so rewarding helping older adults and people with a disability to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
