Occupational Therapy

How can occupational therapy help?

Sometimes we need a little help to be able to do the activities that are meaningful to us.  Whether it is taking care of ourselves or others important to us, engaging in work or school, or performing recreational activities, sometimes medical conditions and disabilities can get in the way.  Occupational therapists are highly trained health professionals that help you perform these easier using a range of approaches.

Our occupational therapists can help make things easier for you using a range of approaches, such as:

  • Providing you with equipment like showering aids and kitchen devices
  • Prescribing modifications to your home, such as grab rails and ramps
  • Supplying you with a range of different ways of getting things done that might make things easier and safer
